Terms & Conditions

General

• The House Manager is available from 8am to 5pm.
• Complimentary Breakfasts are served from 8am to 9am. The Chef may be booked at two weeks notice for private lunches and dinners. The kitchens are available for guest use and are fully stocked with complimentary food and beverages. Wines, beers and spirits are chargeable at cost.

Rules and Policies

• Check in time is from 3:00pm - Check Out time is up to 11:00am.
• Rates are in GBP and subject to 20% VAT.
• Rates are based upon your dates and length of stay.

Payment

• Method of payment: We accept Visa, MasterCard, Pay Pal, Debit Card and Telegraphic Transfer.
• Deposit will be forfeited for cancellation within 2 months of arrival date.
• Cancellations must be made by email using your customer reference number.

Booking Conditions

• At the time of receiving your request to proceed with your booking, Retreats Group Ltd will ask for an initial deposit payment of 50% of the total amount of the holiday (unless the booking is within 1 month of arrival in which instance we would require full payment at this stage). Please note, you confirms your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. You will be sent a receipt to confirm funds have been received. All card details are securely stored by Secure Trading.
• As a condition of your booking, the guest warrants:
  
  
  1. that all information provided to Retreats Group Ltd (RGL), including without limitation all occupant details, is true and accurate in all respects;
  2. to leave the property, its contents and facilities in the same state of repair and condition upon vacation as they were at the start of the hire period;
  3. to pay, at reasonable cost, for all repairs and replacement of items rendered beyond repair required as a result of your occupation of the property.
  4. to act promptly and reasonably in respect of any problems arising at the property and to bring these to the attention of us Retreats Group Ltd staff as soon as reasonably practicable;
  5. not to use the property for any non-residential purpose;
  6. to take all reasonable safety and security measures at the property during the hire period, including without limitation all reasonable precautions to avoid the risk of fire and to keep the property locked when unattended;
  7. not to engage in anti-social behaviour and/or criminal activity and to respect other local residents and the locality;
  8. to comply with the specific requirements of the property, including but not limited to, the maximum permitted occupancy, prohibition on pets and on smoking;
  9. not to share the property with anyone who is not a member of the party and not to allow unregistered guests to stay overnight;

Without prejudice to any legal rights and/or remedies, Retreats Group Ltd reserves the right to evict all or any occupants of the property at any time where we deem this reasonably necessary as a result of a breach of any of these conditions without refund, and without prejudice to any other rights of Retreats Group Ltd. We reserve the right to refuse any booking.

Retreats Group Limited bears no liability for personal injury or loss and/or damage to personal property, save where such loss and/or damage arises as a result of negligence or wilful default on the part of Retreats Group Ltd. The Guest shall indemnify Retreats Group Limited for any costs, damage or loss which are incurred at or to the property where insurance is rendered void due to properties not being kept locked and secure. In the event of a problem arising during the hire period, the Guest shall inform Retreats Group Ltd as soon as possible. If a problem arises outside normal business hours, we ask that you telephone our emergency numbers for service.

Retreats Group Limited accepts no liability for any loss or damage of personal belongings.

In all disputes and interpretation of this Contract, English and Welsh law will apply and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. If a court finds that any of these booking conditions are void, illegal or unenforceable, in whole or in part, the remainder of the conditions will continue to be valid and have full force and effect.
