Housekeeping Assistant at Twr y Felin Hotel

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Housekeeping Assistant to join our award-winning team, based at Twr y Felin Hotel, with the flexibility to support our sister properties, Penrhiw Priory and Roch Castle. This casual role (£12.35 per hour) offers both full-time and part-time hours. You’ll play an important part in maintaining our exceptional standards across guest rooms, public areas, and spa facilities, helping to create a welcoming and memorable experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain guest rooms, public areas, spa facilities, and back‑of‑house areas to company standards.
  
• Work efficiently to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to arrival.
  
• Follow established checklists to ensure all rooms and areas are fully stocked and presented to standard.
  
• Liaise with the Laundry department regarding linen requirements, shortages, or stained items.
  
• Report guest lost property to the Housekeeping Manager.
  
• Report maintenance issues promptly to the Maintenance department.
  
• Deliver a smooth, courteous, and guest‑focused service at all times, anticipating needs and responding to requests professionally.
  
• Respect guest privacy by always knocking and allowing time for a response before entering rooms.
  
• Handle guest belongings with care, avoiding unnecessary movement of personal items.
  
• Wear the correct uniform and maintain high personal hygiene standards.
  
• Be present during key operational periods including Weddings, Events, Christmas, New Year, Easter, School Holidays, and Bank Holidays.
  
• Work across all Retreats Group properties as required (driving licence and vehicle essential).
  
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the Group.
• Work confidently and independently in a busy environment.
